Default Software Update Question

Quick question... I am 2 weeks into my Pearl HTC and I got in the car the other day and all of my controls (icons on infotainment, radio sound settings, lock and unlock settings, etc) were back to factory settings. I am wanting to know if that is what happens when you get a new update? I am not sure if I received an update or not. I never saw a message or acknowledged a download. I have never lost power to the car either. Was this just a random fluke or did I miss an update?

Thanks in advance

Should not (and in my case has not) reset any of my settings after 2 updates. Anyway I read something in the Service Manual about how the dealer has to take the car out of demo mode when delivering it. Apparently you can get random resets or something like that. Read for yourself and see if that may be what is happening to you.

You would know if you had an update. The car doesn't install updates without your permission.
