Ok, here is one that I have not seen before. I bought a new GM Navi Card. Went to the car this morning to install and could not get the old card to come out. It would come out about a quarter inch or so and then stop. I don't want to force it out. If I have to, I will go to the dealer. If they break it they can fix it. .
Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how did you resolve it?
I would let the dealer do it. Surprised you are installing a new card already in the first place. I have used my nav system and it works just fine. It doesn't take me on some crazy routes like my car play system does some times.

If it comes out a quarter of an inch, then it is released. Use needle nose and a slight tug should do the trick.
(This is assuming you push it in first to release it.)

I fear breaking something. It should just release. It may take pliers but if it does, it will be the dealer using them.

Just returned from my Service Center (Sunset Chevrolet, Sarasota) The card reader release was broken. They had the part in stock and 30 minutes later, I was on the road, new card installed. All is well that ends well.
