Default Which color

My dealer has 3 not spoken for cars coming in. I have my choice of Hypersonic Gray, Ceramic Matrix or Yellow. Z51 cars. I would say the yellow is out. Which gray is the more popular color?

Other options and interior colors would control my decision. I don’t think forum people can choose your color palette beyond that but my vote would be CMG.

I'm curious as to why you want to know what the more popular color is so you can make a choice? Just get what you like!

Probably to resell maybe?

also cmg is not a popular color, it’s near the bottom. Orange outsells it.

PS. I have cmg and love it.

I just thought it was an odd question because I never purchase my cars with resale in mind...I always get what I like and have never had any problems selling them when the time came...

Interesting that the dealer is getting 3 unspoken for cars. OP are you purchasing at MSRP?

Thanks for the input. I really wasn't crazy about either gray. I'll prob just order and wait. If they had ELB or black, there would be no question. They are going to be 5g's over also. I can order exactly what I want and wait 18 mos no ADM.
I was originally inquiring about the Eray list and discovered they would have a few Stingrays coming.

If you're really wanting ELB, you may end up having to buy used or finding a new one already sitting on a lot since it looks like they're discontinuing that color after this MY. From the leaked MY24 visualizer, it looks like it will be replaced by "Riptide Blue Metallic". I don't think any of that has been confirmed by GM, but it seems likely.

Id recommend going with Macmulkin if ordering. Several of us have gotten deliveries around 9 months but definitely within a year. You can option for a courtesy delivery in your area or a museum delivery. A true MSRP cost and they’ll price protect you if it comes into play for 2024.Good luck!

I would probably take the HSB, but that is my choice. You should pick the one you like the best that has the options you want.

CMG, it will be discontinued for 2024 so it will be even more unique in the future

Ross Downing has 9 allocations coming up that are not spoken for yet. Possibly because they started in on the bandwagon with ADM last year. Greed will catch up pretty soon.

Agreed ( like what I did there?) Likely if cars are not spoken for currently I’m guessing the dealership pissed the folks that ordered them off with ADM. Seems so logical to sell at MSRP with happy customers vs greed and unhappy customers particularly in this economy. It’s speculation at this point, but I’m willing to bet.

If you are willing to wait order though MacMulkin. The current average wait time is 8-10 months through them and you are getting at true MSRP. No added fees and no mark up for anything and you get to order exactly what you want.
