Received a bit of bad news today. Got my Pearl HTC on 13Dec and rushed to get 1500 miles on it here in Indiana. We go to Florida for the winter and I was wanting to take the C8 with me. Took to dealership to change oil after 1500 break in period and was slated to head to Florida next week. I mentioned to the certified C8 tech that the car had a few random shudders during some of my drives. Being hypersensitive about the DCT I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to be one of the guys with transmission troubles. Tech drove the car and had the computer hooked up while driving. He said the car was actually mis-firing causing the shudder. They narrowed it down to #3 cylinder and now are waiting for GM engineering assistance to find out why…… bummer. Anyone else heard of a mis-firing issue? I guess I will now ride down to Florida with my wife and fly back to get the C8 when it’s fixed. Broke it in all the right way… haven’t even done a full pull on the car yet.

Anyone else heard of a mid-firing issue? I guess I will now ride down to Florida with my wife and fly back to get the C8 when it’s fixed. Could be as simple as a loose/bad plug wire or a defective spark plug.
I took mine in for its first oil change and DCT filter change at about 1700 miles and the tech accidently left one of the spark plug wires loosely connected (I don't know why he pulled it in the first place). The car sputtered; threw codes etc almost immediately after driving about 500 feet from the dealership. The tech fixed the "issue" in about ten minutes.
Hopefully your problem is as simple.

when I informed about the shudder he checked for any codes and there were none. He is an awesome tech so I really trust him, he seems concerned it may be deeper issue.
My friend with a 2022 has the same occasional shudder, under specific conditions. No codes. He's had it in a couple of times, but they can't find it..Someone had similar issues and it turned out to be a faulty Cam Positioning Sensor.
