Start Button Cover
This cheap ricer crap is made in China! No Corvette purist should ever put this abomination in their car!! *grumble grumble grumble* There, that should help speak for those who must opine without answering my question. Now on to my question:
Has anyone fitted (other themes like Marvel characters are on Amazon) on their C8 and how well does it hold up? One comment says it fits 99% of all cars but the start button in my Mustang lacks a rim for secure adhesion. However the C8's start button has a rim albeit slightly recessed in a chrome ring. Not sure how well the button cover would set in.
Besides that, consensus says it feels quality/substantial made from a zinc alloy (not cheap plastic), the meaty hinge is overkill durable, and adhesion ring is strong yet removes cleanly like tacky/rubbery clear packaging goo. I plan to add subtle Mandalorian touches inside/out and this fits the theme perfectly. Also the chrome black variant would match factory stealth accessories (black speaker grilles, stealth front badge, black exhaust tips).

That's been my exact plan since I bookmarked this item early last year. But given I have a few months to wait for my build order, I figured this forum inquiry helps the time pass and could save me some time/trouble.

I had one on my C7 even though it was more a square button. Got a lot of compliments on it also. I think they're cool and will try one on my C8. I don't have my C8 yet, so can someone please tell me if the start/stop button lights up when you turn it on? Picture?

If you don't like it, give it to a neighbor kid or some such. I gave the hokey Stingrays from the fenders of my C7 to my granddaughter who painted them purple with green and orange polka-dots. Kids eat up crappola.
