What's it worth to you is the question. Of course they are worth it, at least to me and everyone else who bought them. It's only money, can't take it with you.
See my recent thread about weights. If you really like the design (which, if you do, you should probably give up driving as you are clearly visually impaired), they might be worth it to you. I paid $1995 for the Q99 wheels and the stupid things are essentially the same weight as the base cast wheels. What a ripoff.
I was more interested in the looks than the weight savings. Truly forged wheels that are really light are also usually really expensive. 5lbs is 5lbs. Times 4 is a whole nuther belt size on a fat person.
I think so if you consider that the standard wheels look ugly and the black version of it isn't much better, at $995. extra. Then there's the 5-spoke machined face in either silver or Spectra Gray at $1,495. extra. I love the Spectra Gray ones and would pick them over all the ones already listed. But, for $500. more you can get the new for 2023 20-spoke forged wheels (Q99) at $1,995. They come from the factory, all set and ready to go for this price. I wasn't too wild about shopping around for after market wheels, making sure to get the right ones without even seeing some of them in person and then having to find someone to install them, without messing up my new car! So, a pretty easy decision for me. Sorry, I forgot to mention the Q9I wheels for $995. They were on constraint for months when I was ordering, so not an option for me. They're a great deal for the price, if you want black wheels.
The main reason I did not order any of the factory optional wheels is because none of them have the right fitment. They all need ~20mm more offset to look right on the car. I don't want to pay extra for wheels that are already not really any lighter than the base wheels, and then also have to run spacers. Also, secondary reason is those 20 spoke wheels look really hard to clean. I like a more simple design. But that's purely subjective, of course.
For $2k you can get a set of aftermarket wheels that have the correct offset and fit the factory tires... simple swap out at any tire shop in the country. And for another grand or so you can get forged wheels in a wider, more aggressive fitment and get better tires than what comes from the factory, even a 20/21 size to mimic the Z06 fitment.
Or for $500 you can have the base silver wheels powder coated in any color of the rainbow too, as a cheaper alternative.

I had the 20-spokes on order because they look like a bargain for their price with the compromise of sunken in offset. But after going back and forth in my head I resolved I shouldn't buy wheels for bargains. I should buy wheels that fully satisfy my aesthetic taste. And I knew, maybe not right away, but eventually I would change those wheels out for aftermarket with more flush fitment in a year or so, spending more in total. So I removed the optional wheels to do it right the first time and go aftermarket straightaway. This way would total out to be more frugal in the end.
