You could be my kid, but he wants a grey one. He got rid of his Fizzer by having it stolen and never replacing it...

Welcome, I've got about 2 years wait for my Z06, but no problem as I'm thoroughly enjoying my '23 Z51.
Yo there's a bunch of us up here in Wilmington. I am a '21 early red mist production now with 7100 miles. Most C8s I run by on the roads are all RED with a few Rapid Blue. Not many White or Black and one Caffeine.
At least some guys are on the road, the rest are hibernating due to weather. We've had zero snow so I get out alot.

Gives you time to get those classified documents out of your garage.
Nothing classified in Rehoboth Beach....the military burn bags work just fine. Hey B17/B25CC I like the plane in your avatar. My neighbor is a former WWII 2nd Lt pilot who is 101 yrs old a local guy named Ray. He completed all 25 missions and wrote a book. Ray Firmani 'Against All Odds". He was born and raised in Wilmington still gets around; got the DFC.

Thanks for the plane compliment. I have over 100 flights in it. Crew chief, not a pilot.
That's a B25 Mitchell. My neighbor was in the B17. You a part of the CAF? Commemorative Air Force? I had heard they grounded all the B17s .......not sure but there was one named Fifi which crashed with all on board in NY State a few years ago. Also, another B17 recently went down. I've toured the B17 and a Lancaster bomber plus a P51 here at the Wilmington Airport.
I belong to an independent museum. Not affiliated with the CAF.
Lone Star Flight Museum.
The plane lost in Oct 2019 was a B-17 in Connecticut. No B-29 crashes lately, only two flying in the world.
Our museum had a B-17 but it was sold in 2020, I was a crew chief on it too.
B-17s aren’t grounded. There are three that fly and offer rides. Cost is $425 and up depending on the plane and where you sit. There are two 17s undergoing heavy maintenance and should return to the air eventually. The last B-17 list was Texas Raiders in November at the CAF Dallas Airshow.
