Anyone ordered a car lately and it get delivered within a few months. Looking to order a new ‘23 1LT at MSRP but prefer not to wait 9-18 months on delivery. Like to have within 5-6 months if possible. If anyone knows if this is possible in the south east let me know. Definitely a stretch I know
That's going to be all about calling dealers and finding one with an allocation not taken but available for you to take advantage of. There is no magic solution. Hard work, perseverance and good luck.

Those "finds" are more commonly known as unicorns. When I was building my 2021 on the Chevy website I would check the inventory near me every few days. When I saw one on the Chevy site I would check the dealer website just to see if it was really there and for sale. I actually found one near my spec at a dealer less than ten minutes from me one day so I hopped in my truck and went to look. It was sitting on their showroom floor. It had come in the day before I found it, the deal fell through, the dealer had just finished the PDI, and a person from Kansas City had done the same thing I did and bought it for MSRP over the phone that morning. The dealership owner, who doesn't get a lot of Corvette allocations, forbid his Sales Manager from adding an ADM because he didn't want to run off his other customers. It's rare but it can happen.
One other example is I helped two people with their builds who went to a rural Chevy dealer, met with the Sales Manager, and let him/her know they were serious about buying a Corvette. Both put down deposits in November 2021 and both had their cars by April 2022. They both lived near the dealers they used so that may have something to do with getting an allocation. Good luck!

The car I found close to my specs I wouldn't have bought either. It wasn't an HTC and had the natural dipped interior. Get what you want.
I got mine in 3 months. A friend was ordering his but didn't like the constraints. I happened to be at the right place and said I would take his build. Worked out perfectly. The car came in on the transporter this morning. I pick it up on Friday. Small town dealer and at MSRP plus his doc fee.
If I was 10-12 months at #1125 at MM in December I would have to imagine its down to 8-10 months now. I am betting their list is under 1000 now. The caveat to that is if they slow down production of SR to accommodate more Z06 and ERay production...
