Also, I wonder what % of C8 buyers are selling/trading a prior model Vette?
My guess is a lot. I sold my C7 prior to taking delivery of my C8. I absolutely loved my C7 vert but the C8 is on another level completely. The HTC alone is worth the price of admission. I had hard top convertibles prior to buying my C7 rag top and if there was anything I was not that jazzed about it was that soft top.
If you are not buying the C7 for the third pedal I would find a discounted C8 and make the leap. Either way, good luck with your search.
I just saw this... haven't read all the replies.... but just wanted to say I am in central NC, looking for a low miles C7 convertible, Auto (I've had a C5 and two C6, all auto tranny convertibles).
But anyway, I went to the local Chev dealer to see any C7 trade-ins they might have, and I was shocked to see about a dozen brand new C8 on the lot !!!
No C8 supply chain issues here! I'm not saying C8 is bad - - I'm just saying there's apparently a large stock available (here?).

Theres a group that trades frequently and want the latest greatest. And corvettes relatively hold value which facilitates this. But you are seeing cars in stock because production has caught up with demand. Just the normal cycle.
Had suede steering wheel in my BMW. After 3 years it looked bad. I cleaned it often. Once the suede is all matted it looks bad.
Never again for me. The suede in the seats would be great. Love the white. Congrats
