Rear deck lid bind
2022 coupe
When I open my rear deck lid it sometimes sticks and then pops free. Seems to be in the middle. I lube the gasket with the recommended GM lube often.
It does get very close to the roof panel but does not seem to have a physical interference. Even if I could do an adjustment to get more clearance I would run into problems with the rear fascia. It is very close as is.
Any ideas?

I would just take it to a dealer and let them diagnose what is going on. Could just be a simple adjustment to the alignment of the deck lid.

I have been "greasing" the seals with ACDelco Super lube as recommended for targa top squeaks and such.
Just noticed that it leaves a bit of a film which actually feels sticky.
I cleaned it off and put a thin coating of Sil-Glyde on the seal.
No more bind.
