I live in Toronto and when I get my C8, I will have it on winter tires and drive it on the days that arent snowy on the ground. The only reason I wouldnt drive it would be because I feel its unsafe due to the conditions.

live in hamburg ny just a few minutes south of buffalo i drive it on nice sunny days in winter then wash and put away but lots of salt on roads here
My C8 is just a pleasure car, don't typically drive it in the winter except for those few chilly sunny days when roads are clear, dry and free of road chemicals. I have two Toyota Tacomas that are built for poor weather that I enjoy driving so no reason to drive my C8 throughout the winter.
I also like to keep my stuff super nice and clean, so again no reason to drive in poor winter weather.
But to each their own.
I drive it in the winter in the DC area on Z51 PS4S summer tires. It's garage kept and the garage stays above 50F. If it's actively snowing or icing I'm not going to drive it. I'm also not going to drive it sub-25 degrees or so. It's been totally fine on freezing temperature days when it's dry or cold rainy days. It's been a mild winter, barely any snow and only a few days in the teens.
I'm glad I didn't drop $2k+ and the hassle of putting winter/all season tires on. The summer tires have been totally fine. You get more wheelspin when you light it up when they're real cold and you just can't push it as hard as when it's warm. It's going to be 80 degrees this Thursday in February. Last week we had three days over 65. Can't complain.
Yes, with A/S tires, but not if there's snow or a lot of salt on the roads. So far this winter we've had only a dusting of snow, so it's gotten driven a lot.
If the roads are dry and its above 40 degrees, I will take her out even with summer tires. This winter she been out a lot. Now, the '66 doesnt go out until the roads are dry and salt free.

I live north of Barrie in the snow belt-have a 2021 HTC Z51 with Front lift which I use with winter wheels and snow tires for winter-I have driven it most days all winter-did get stuck once going over snowplow pile at the end of my driveway-C8 has quite the large underbody pan and it just surfed up on the snow bank and sat there spinning it wheels mostly off the ground-couple helpful neighbours gave me push and not a problem since-obviously a lighter foot on the gas, use "winter" (snowflake setting) and be careful. As good or better than any rear wheel car I have driven in my 7+ decades. Car definitely gets dirty but I bought it to drive and take it to car wash every week or two and then come spring get the ceramic touch up done and like new for the summer with the top down!!
Mine came home for the first time from 500 miles of freezing rain and blizzard on all seasons. That’s the worst it’s been through though. Unless you intend to take it out on bad snow and ice I wouldn’t bother with the winters, the all seasons will do just fine in cold dry conditions and do pretty well in cold wet conditions. This winter has been pretty mild but I’ve still taken mine out when the roads have been less than optimal. I’m more afraid of other people than I am of the roads or my driving.
Weather mode and all seasons are champs!
I only drive mine on nice days. Not because I think it will melt in the rain, but mainly because I want to keep it relatively clean without having to be one of those guys that cleans it Everytime I drive.
I don't have a garage for it, but in the fall when the maple twirlies start flying I put a cover on it.I also put away the hose for the winter. That's late October, early November. The cover stays on until the trees are bare, late December, then the cover comes off and away I go.
I use Spray on Car Wash until it weather gets back up to near 60° then bring back out the hose so I can do water washes.
Ditto Crispins - I also drive it all year but not on snow or salt roads. Will wait for the rain to wash the salt off also. Sommer only tires, just have to use common sense in the cold weather. Cold temperatures alone will not hurt the tires, just the grip. This car was made to drive, not sit in the garage and look at until the summer gets here. Did the same thing with my C6 GS and it was clean enough to win Best of Show (C6 Class) at a well known Corvette show
I see I have to re-new my picture here, I have to work on that !

I drive mine in the winter when road conditions warrant and when the roads are clear of salt/cinders. I do have all season tires on the car. Going to be getting the car out either tomorrow or Tuesday for a day trip.
Long Island NY temps have been mild and no snow so I’ve been driving with the Summer tires . Traction a bit of an issue until tires heat up but so far so good .
