I want to order a set of Lloyds 'Ultimate' mats this weekend and would like to know does black or ebony match the C8s black interior. Thanks.
I sent Lloyd's an email asking about this. Their Customer Service responded ebony has been their match for GM black since the C5. I ordered ebony Ultimate and the are in fact that. Ultimate!
Caveat. If you have a different color of OEM carpet than black, the buttons that secure the mat will be visible and not match. Our Natural Tan interior has tan buttons for the OEM tan mats. So we have two circles of tan in the Lloyd's ebony face. No big deal for us, but if you are OCD it might to you. Fixable with a paint pen, Sharpie, black tape.

Lloyds ebony is the best match for the C8's black carpet. However, if you have a dipped interior with no black carpet then Lloyds black is a better match for the rest of the black in the car.
Anyone got the closest to match natural dip interior? If so, pics please
I got border and stitching samples from Lloyds and they don't have a good match for GM's Natural (their tan wasn't a good match). I didn't want tan carpets as my objective was to break up the Natural Dipped interior so I didn't get any tan carpet samples, I thought there was a little too much Natural. I wound up getting black (not ebony) mats with black borders and black stitching.
