just an update on getting my replacement amp..All sound has stopped from my vehicle....Been over 3 weeks...I found a auto store online and they said they had none but gave me the name of a dealer near me that had 2..Got so excited and called him...He did have 2 BUT said it took him months to get one and it was for a customer so no dice...
I had called gm customer service and filled a complaint..Got a nice call but the lady was a complete idiot...Wanted to thank me for being a customer and said she would give me points and every month more points till it came..Could not really tell me anything on time or even where it was coming from..Kept saying they were looking but could not tell me where??? She kept thanking me but could not give me a time at all..I was totally upset..At least say they are back ordered or something.. The last thing she said was there anything else she could do for me .She is going to call me next week....why i do not know...I realize she is trying to help but has no revelent info... So listening to spotify from my phone with a speaker hooked up...

Hope you can get this resolved soon - sucks to have a problem with the car and can’t get a good estimate on when parts will be available.

Did you not take your car to the dealership? i took mine to jim ellis chevy in doraville (you and I both live in GA) and they got me a replacement amp in 3 days. my car recently also had the issue but they were able to order the part fast and get it installed the day it came in.

Took mine to where it was bought from Boardwalk Chevrolet Redwood City CA.
Took 3 months!

Count your blessings...Hardy chevy and they have been super nice...
I am thinking about calling bose...since they make them and see if they can help???
I have a nice set up with my phone and spotify with a speaker set up that works good

My amp went dead with 90 miles on the odometer. The service tech at the dealer contacted the TAC Team and they FedEx’d out a new amp. The new amp arrived at the dealership the next morning and was installed that day. That was back in November 2020. Been fine ever since.

just curious...did they tell you why it failed?? Usually electronics work or don't...Mine went out a year ago but came back on 3 days later and lasted untell now...It went out and came back on for 3 days and then went out and stayed out..
I just like to know stuff...My mom always got on me cause I would take things apart but could not put them back together

Got an update from chevy customer service yesterday...My new amp has been shipped to dealer so should be fixed next week...The lady told me she would call saterday to work out a package to give me for my troubles...Will see.....
AT least I could still drive and I am starting to like spotify...Use my phone and a speaker hooked to it...
