I'm more a boring black, silver, red guy, but it would be really good for the brand if GM would use some wild, vivid exciting colors like the ones shown in this thread. Would bring more young blood in.
Past twenty years, purchased twelve vehicles.
Ten silver.
One grey (next time, silver).
My daughter wanted a Yellow car.
All of my future cars will be silver. Gorgeous, timeless (some of the colors in this thread will be "Oh, I see, a mid 2020's car" in five years), and always looks clean.
Black/white/silver/grey dominate because they are timeless. True red is probably timeless.
All the rest, you can glance at the color, and guess the year within a year or two. Not a good thing in the long haul.
GM should start using AI. All of those colors are better than the current offering. Paint with this level of richness usually comes with a pretty high cost. That green and that blue look aotstanding.
If the C8's styling were a modern callback to a past decade, the '80s would be it and some sort of magenta like Ruby Star Neo would give a retrofuture vibe.
Glad to see all of these colors actually on the car though the lighting on the AI ones is kinda artificial , makes me think of the late 60s and 70s mopar colors I’ve been waiting and hoping for black rose metallic or night race blue. Daytona sunset maybe , this car deserves some wilder colors !
