Does anyone know of an easy way to confirm current month constraints other than speaking to a dealer rep? Just trying to confirm if Z51 package is on constraint for this month's orders.
I had a build saved yesterday, and now it's gone. I assume it's because of this? It's really annoying to do all the work building a car and saving it, only to have it deleted because something changed on their end.
I don’t know if every dealer has the same constraints at the same time. Someone may know that answer for sure though. I remember when I confirmed my order over the phone, my salesman at Ciocca said ‘I can actually get all your options now, so I want to get that in’. I wanted z51 and body color high wing, maybe those were difficult or in short supply that month.
I wanted Museum delivery, but he said the Museum doesn’t have any white high wings, be he can get one.
I think you need to have two builds you can live with and be ready for the call, or call them.

About a week before I ordered my car, almost exactly a year ago, Chev announced constraints such that the ONLY cars that could be built were FE3 suspension. Base Stingray had been on constraint already. (Supposedly due to shortages of mechanical differentials and/or base brake sets, depending on which info source you wanted to believe.) Then they added a constraint on MSRC - none available.
So the only car I could order was a Z51, no mag ride. I was actually third or fourth in line for the next allocation at this time, and I was willing to order, so I got to jump the line.
The evening before my appointment with my salesman, I learned from this forum that MM was informing their customers they WOULD have a limited opportunity to order MSRC on the same allocation period. I asked my salesman about this. Could he do the same. He spent some time on his computer and then informed me he could not - he could see there was a limited number of MSRC allocations available, but he could also see that he was not going to get one. (He showed the the screen, I didn't entirely capture what he was showing me.) So it seems that dealers DO NOT have the same constraints at the same time.
As for museum delivery affecting constraints - I don't understand that at all. They build the car for the dealer that orders it. When the car is built, they ship it to the museum instead of the dealer. Constraints shouldn't have any effect on that.
Bottom line, I found a dealer that took the order. I've been on a wait list with a "Very Large" corvette seller for 17 months now, with a deposit in their hands ( was quoted a 12 month approx wait). I have been given every excuse in the book as to why my time to order kept getting pushed, when others I see on social media are placing orders and receiving deliveries from this dealer. That last excuse was the constraint on the Z51 package for March. I made a few calls and found a dealer that was given some allocations that included the Z51 package and placed the order. Just waiting for final acceptance from GM and my 3000 status. I may be reading too much into this, but my guess is others were jumping the line by offering over MSRP or had a relationship with this dealer. Thanks for all the replies and information. Very helpful.
My dealer placed my order this week. Blue belts and black rims with red stripe was on constraint. I could only pick Spectra gray rims which were also 1495.
I have Z51 in rapid blue with mg ride. All other went in and it is at 3000 hopefully today.
I'm just guessing but when something goes on constraint there are still some of the item in the system, so some dealer/dealers get them. I know assembly is planned weeks ahead but I still think this happens.
I also think that sometimes they see they are going to be only a few items short and rather than put it on constraint, they just don't allow a few cars to be ordered with it. I think this happened to me on a January allocation. The system wouldn't let my dealer order Carbon Flash mirrors and Spoiler. It wasn't on constraint according to Shane and no one else here seems to have had the problem.
This is just speculation and could be completely wrong but it does make some sense. I'm sure someone will set me straight.

My order went in also, I had Q9A selected but Q9A and Q9I rims both on constraint... boo. I dropped to base as I didn't really like any of the other options.
