I am new to this order process, so please bear with me. Am I correct in assuming that the order date does not matter as much as the priority and allotment to the dealer? For example, I placed my order on 2-9-2023. It has been in 1100 status since then (1100 Preliminary Order Accpeted) since then. After having that much time to think about my spec I wanted to make a few changes. So, my dealer attempted to make them without affecting the status of the order, but it would not let him to make one of the changes.

So, he started over and got it in there as priority 1 and it has the same 1100 status.

Since it was not picked up, I am hoping that the changes I made did not push me back in line (constraints aside). Any thoughts or education on this porcess would be appreciated.

Also, I am new to reading these constraint tables. I ordered a Z51 with mag-ride and the gray forged wheels with the red stripe.

I have read that others got moved to 3000 status even though they had items that were listed as a constraint the week before.

This is my 3rd corvette, but my first order. Sorry in advance for the naivete.

Based on the info you provided here, I’m guessing there won’t be any at the moment? The Q9A constraint shows minus 70th Ann so if it’s 70th anniversary pkg it’s available? Trying to get one of the last ones before it changes to year 2024.
When did you submit your order?

the gray forged wheels with the red stripe (Q9A)s have been on constraint. Your order will not move forward with those on there and will not move unless dealer has an allocation. If dealer has an allocation pick other than Q9A (red stripe) and Q9I (black forged) and your order should be accepted.

Thanks. They had an allocation - as I understand the term - and it is set to priority 1 in their system.

In February, my dealer just notified me that allocation is coming up next week. So I’m hoping there’s no constraints and it can go 3000 without any issue

Did he ask the magic 8 ball for an allocation? You will be disappointed if the dealership doesn't get one or enough. Usually you only get notified once an allocation is available not hey we are calling you because we are pretty sure something is coming next week. I placed an order for a 70th on March 17th wish I could tell you if it was at 3000 without issue but im in Canada and GM's chat bot to track my order only seems to work for US orders and I have not reached out to the dealership yet. Best of luck to you pal

Thank you! And I hope you got urs soon too! My dealership is in LA and he gets around 10 allocation per month so the April allocation is coming up and I’m on top of the list. Pretty sure if there no constraints on my build it will get pulled by GM. The only thing that worries me is the non z51 constraints. Fingers crossed.

Your list for the week of 4-17 shows 0 coupes or convertibles.
Does this mean the plant will be closed again?

The way the lists are named make it very confusing. I thought constraint lists were shown in a percentage of what’s Ava?
Your list from 3-27 to 4-3 showed only 36 SR would be made. The average was 143 per day. What gives?

FYI for others..... I got a call today from my dealer, and my March allocation that's been on hold due to non-Z51 constraint was accepted by Chevrolet today!

Mine was accepted last Thursday as well. I am now at 2000. I wrote the concierge, and they confirmed the next level of 3000, then 3400-Broadcast and a TPW shouldn't be far off.

I was watching the constraints and was mentally prepared for it not to happen. I ordered a 3LT with front lift, Z51, mag-ride, and the midnight gray/red stripe wheels - all of which have been on and off the constraint list. So, the factory saying they will build that car without changes was pretty exciting.
