My thoughts exactly! My daily driver Ford Maverick has auto stop/start and I've grown accustomed to it, BUT it comes alive like a sewing machine. Meanwhile I was at a light the other day and a Charger beside me VROOM startup when light turned and I thought, "ouch, thats gonna get annoying on C8"

Not only annoying but possibly expensive as well. My wife's SUV with auto/stop/start starter went out at about 10,000 miles and cost to replace it was right at $850. It was covered under warranty, however not sure about the next one. Service Manager said they've seen quite a few failures especially during the warmer months.
They are updating the software on the infotainment system to the newer Google one. It's the same software in the updated pickups and other new GM models.
