Default Door Alignment

Picked up my C8 last week at MacMulkin and just love this car. I didn't notice at delivery that the drivers door is mis-aligned, it drops down about 1/4 inch so it is not flush on top or where it meets the black trim on the rear fender, is this a big deal for the dealer to "adjust" and is this covered.

Thanks

It can be adjusted and should be covered. Would like to see a photo depicting how far off it is.
General body panel fit and alignment seems to be one of the areas where the C8 is greatly improved over the C7.

"...one of the areas where the C8 is greatly improved over the C7" From what I've seen there's not that much difference. Why... essentially the same people doing the assembly, then and now.

GM had to be aware of the C7 body panel fit shortcomings, I expect they used the he totally new and different body design / assembly to do something about it with the C8. The C7 panel fit / alignment was horrible. I don't believe I've ever seen one where you couldn't find t least one panel that was off to some degree. Though we see a C8 panel fit thread here from time to time, it's no where near as frequent as was for the C7.

The panel fit and overall fit and finish is much improved with the C8 compared to previous generations. I know the haters will throw shade on GM and the people who work in BG but that's expected because haters have to hate.

I agree and you can't control the haters because that's what they do. I have owned Audis, Hondas, BMW's and all domestic brands and my C8 is as good or better than all of them when it comes to fit and finish. I had some fitment issues with my C7 but they were solved by my dealer.
