Default Museum delivery date flexibility?

I am at 3300 with a TPW of 4/10 (it was shifted from 4/3 due to shutdown). In discussions with Shane, he indicated that the earliest I could probably get the car is two weeks after it comes off the line. He also stated that the delivery could be extended for up to two more weeks depending on museum schedule. If produced on the last day of that week (14th), the earliest I could get the car would be the 28th. I plan to ask for May 10th (wife's birthday) as a tentative date. Does that sound workable for you who have been through the process? It will of course, depend on the museum schedule. It would make for a great day since we've been waiting since last July! It would also help with planning travel arrangements. Plan to discuss with Shane on Monday IF TPW hasn't changed after updates. You don't know if you don't ask! We did a museum delivery in 2007, looking forward to another one.

I bet they can accommodate. I had my 2003 Z06 delivered on my wife’s birthday. They did up right. Balloons and a sign. She had no idea.

I don't think it'll be a problem. I thought they told me they pad 14 days after its built for QC, transit, and PDI. They schedule within a 30-day window, so you should be good. I'd reserve it now if they'll let you.
