YOU don't do anything! Take it for a pro consultation... or two, before you do anything else!

agree 100%. My detailer would be able to tell me immediately what steps to take and I wouldn't touch it until I talked to him. That's a free visit 99.9% of the time and I trust him 100%.

Stupid question, I can take it to any Chevy dealer, right? The dealer I bought it from is kinda far from my house.

Yes, I'd try to find one with a body shop, perhaps contact your local Corvette club for recommendations.

If the detailer tells you it is under the clear coat (which is doubtful if you did no see them when you picked up the car) then get the dealer involved since that would mean something more costly is needed to fix it.
In the interest of not doing the wrong thing, I agree with the above. I would do nothing further unless you're an expert and you sound like you are not.

And I also agree that most dealers do not have an expert on staff. This "looks" like a top-down something. But I'm no expert either. Dealer first, for awareness and what to do. Remember that all that paint, clear coat and base is/are very thin. Unless I'm wrong, whatever is done will not be like a sponge absorbing water from a countertop.

Come back and tell us what the dealer says or does.

Have you had the car ceramic coated? This looks similar to an area where the Ceramic was not removed soon enough. Go to a detail shop.

So I called the local dealer that has a detailing shop and they're saying that if it left the dealership where I purchased it with the blemish then they have to take care of it. This really seems like some BS. They're going to look at it anyways after I raised a little hell....

The car isn't ceramic coated.

Looks like paint blush under the clear coat. I have one minor spot on mine that would not buff out when I did the paint correction. Mine is minor and nodbody but me will ever know its there. I am not going to have the whole panel repainted for this, will likely cause more problems than it fixes.

But since you have obvious circles you may need to have it repainted. I would think it would be covered under warrenty but you never know with GM.
