Default The wait is almost over!

Our new Red Mist HTC came off the line this evening (4/14). Deposit made with MM on 7/22/22. Now for the QC hold and finalize the museum delivery. Preliminary is May 10, my wife’s birthday! Process was quicker than I was originally told. Hard to be patient at times. Now if I can just get a copy of the with window sticker in the next few days. Will be a long 3 weeks!

Congrats, hope the preliminary date proves to be accurate and the weather ends up being nice for your NCM delivery.

jcchevy: glad you made it as you hoped on Friday, 4-14-23, We missed by 46, so will follow you into QC waiting on first shift on Monday, 4-17-23.
I began the process of moving $$ to be ready to pay the MM invoice next week. I know your wife will enjoy her birthday on 5-10. I will have to reassure my wife that she need not be nervous when its her turn to be relief driver on our way west.

It must be real!
Thanks to the help from previous posts, I was able to print out the window sticker this afternoon. I was off by $15! Had to pay for the TX required front license plate bracket. It was the third to last car to come off the line (according to the production spreadsheet) on the second shift on FRIDAY! Hope the gang was attentive to their jobs. Musuem delivery PDI is pretty extensive so that gives me some confidence. Anyway, IT is here!

Congratulations jcchevy. I have not posted on here for a few years. I saw a Red Mist HTC on the showroom floor at a small town dealer that I have bought from for years. I got my 2015 Z06 from him. He had the car on the showroom floor and had only had it in less than 7 days. I bought it Monday at MSRP. I figured I would not ever get one so I didn't even bother to get on a waiting list. This one fell into my hands. Sometimes it is advantageous to live in a small community. Iit has everything I would have ordered myself except I would have gotten 3LT and black wheels. It is a 2LT with chrome wheels. I just couldn't believe that I was able to get it. It is such a beautiful color. Enjoy yours when you get it my friend!!

Savor every moment of the anticipation. Contrary to a comment above, your journey is just beginning.
