Default Fine yellowish powder

I removed the intake to porter and find this inside the side of the pcv valve. It is like a fine yellowish powder. What do you think please? Thank you so much.

If you're in Georgia, I'd say that's pollen.

The question then becomes, how did pollen get through the air filter into the intake manifold? OEM paper filter? Aftermarket high-flow drop-in?

I'd also have to say it looks like pollen, but yeah, how did it get in there?

Not sure what it is but I would be way more worried about how it got on the clean side of the filter. It suggests you have an intake leak somewhere or an air filter that is not providing good enough filtration.

I won't wash my C8 until mid-May. It just turns yellow again.

It could not get through the filter so I'm thinking something is not connected properly. If pollen is getting through so is dust/dirt.

I am thinking there is a defective O-ring / seal somewhere, or maybe a mouse chewed a hole in the air filter to let pollen in.
I just found my MSRC "boot" chewed up by a mouse or a rat. WTF!!! You could have picked ANYTHING else in my garage, but you climb up there and eat my MSRC boot?
I believe they like to nest in air boxes too.
