Default Tpms issue (Help/Advice)

So I put a new set of wheels and tire on and bought new oem sensors. I did the relearn process with the 10 dollar tool I bought on Amazon, it never triggered the horn to progress to the next wheel so I canceled the relearn. I've been driving the car thinking it would auto learn and figured it did because I don't have any lights on but I can't access my tire pressures, so I'm figuring they're not associated to the car.

Any ideas other then bringing it to the dealership?

Who mounted the tires? Shouldn't they have done it?

Had tires mounted at a local tire shop and changed the wheels out myself.

I've done that and the left front light turns on and wants to be triggered. I have the trigger tool but nothing happens.

It should have auto learned by itself after a few miles of driving. The 2022's do for sure without having to tell the car to do a relearn. I saw the photo posted, but I would check again that the TPMS you bought were correct for your VIN. It sounds like the car isn't seeing them at all.

My ‘23 auto-learned every time I swap the wheels/TPMS, never used a tool or any procedure. All that has to be done is leave the car stationary for 20 min then drive for 10 min, per the manual. You don’t have a malfunction light, so it’s probably still trying to match.

I assume it has been stationary for at least 20 mins since your posting. Go drive it around for a few miles to match.

Has that worked for you? The instructions in the Owner's Manual do not required "pressing" the tire relearn button on the DIC. It just requires letting the car sit for 20 minutes and then driving it for 10 minutes or so. I have attached that procedure from the Owners Manual. And many have reported that process to be successful.

As I read the 2020 Service Manual, the Learn button on the DIC activates a different process that requires the use of a tool. I have attached that process here - showing the initiation of the tire pressure sensor learn mode and the use of the tire pressure monitor activation tool.

First clip is the Owners Manual Procedure. Second Clip is from the Service Manual and uses the DIC activation and the tire pressure monitor activation tool.
