Default C8 Jacking Pucks

I have a set of JGR aluminum jacking pucks that I bought for my C7 from Amazon. I have a new Stingray coming soon and was wondering if anyone knows if these will work on a C8?

Thanks in advance.

I bought mine for my C6 & they worked for my C7 & also work for my C8. The thing that I have to remember is to remove them when I take the car down off my 2 post lift. I have forgot and drove a short distance but was lucky and nothing was lost. For that reason the ones that bolt in might be a good idea.

I have those exact same ones from Amazon. They work perfectly.

There you go, no need to purchase another set of jacking pucks.

Ok, so I get the pucks installed, jack up the car. Where are you suppose to put the jack stand if you need to remove a wheel?

I use the locations that say "Do Not Lift Here" as jack lifting points which allows you to put stands at the official lifting points. You wouldn't want to use these locations when using a 2 post lift since the rear locations are close to the center of gravity and the car could fall off the lift but if you are only lifting one side of the car the rear locations are handy. Make sure to use pucks with locating features in the holes, you may need to grind down one side of the the "T" to get it to fit in the hole. I've always used two jacks when lifting the front or rear of the car this way but you could probably do it with one jack if you are careful (no guarantees).

Check out this Forum thread to answer your question:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ck-stands.html

I bought the Rennstand but made the mistake of purchasing a Corvette jack pad, when it came with one already. If you pull the trigger on Rennstand, perhaps call them to confirm what you'll be getting with the Jack Stand itself, before you buy anything extra. Having said that, you can buy other brands of jackpoint jack stands and there are other ideas for you to consider on the thread above. Good luck!

I made the same and they work great. I also have a set of Reverse Logic pucks, which are similar to the OP. They also sell wheel lug guides, which come in handy.

Thanks everyone for your input. Glad to hear I don't have to buy a new set of pucks.
