that's most likely going to be what I do - was just hoping we maybe had some similar experiences that have happened and maybe there's a tool I can just stick down there to clear out the small area.

Something like this would bother me too. Either have it totally visible, or totally gone. Team Bla doesn’t work. GL getting it remedied.
