Default June 2023 Allocation Date

Hello all, I've tried to find any info in other threads but no luck so far, can anyone confirm the date allocations go out to dealers this month?

I was told a few weeks ago it would be today, but today was told no allocations so far. I've seen the picture of the calendar of dates but that doesn't seem 100% accurate in the past.

Thanks for any help!

Typically it’s the second Thursday of the month for Stingrays.

I am waiting to see I make it this month. Eighteen months in now. It might be June 15 as June 1 was a Thursday. I hope it is the 8th though.

18 months! There's a thread on the forum from McMulkin. They posted, a few days ago, a message they can get a delivery in three months for a 2023.

Yes, I have read the whole thread. I do not want to order out of Texas for many reasons, notably the sales tax treatment on my 2020 C8 trade in.

My quandary is that only ten people are in front of me, with a heavy drop out rate and a dealer that gets about 100 Stingrays a year.

Hopefully I will get an allocation on Thursday.

Lucky you and very happy for you. I ordered mine 2 days before you (in Europe) and have no info yet.

It’s the 2nd Thursday! Is today allocation day, or consensus day?

I believe so. My dealer did reach out to me earlier this week and said we'll talk tomorrow to confirm.

My local dealer is always the 3rd Thursday of the month.
Looks June 15 for this month.
May 18 was last allocation.

Last month, allocations came out and were assigned on May 11th (2000 event code). Most of those orders were accepted for production control (3000 event code) May 17th. But considering this is probably the last of the 2023 allocations, GM might be doing something different this month.

Has anyone figured out when the June allocations will come? Multiple dates have been tossed around, dealer(MacMulkin) doesn't seem to know for sure either or isn't saying. Conti hinted at the 22nd in his latest video but who knows with him. I'm in the low 300s on the list and given how many people have deferred for a 2024 and MacMulkin has indicated that I have a reasonable shot at a 2023. I'd prefer the 23 but I'd be oK with a 24 as well if that's what it has to be, just would prefer to have the car sooner rather than later . June will likely be the last allocations for the 2023 model year unless something changes , as far as I have been told. Submitted my build to them over a month ago when I was in the high 300s/low 400s. Does anyone have any updated information? Thanks!

I received the call today that I will be making the last order for a 23 next week. They didn't give me the official date and I didn't really care, I've just been pushing to get a 23 instead of waiting for a 24.

I think that GM is trying to figure out how much factory capacity it has for 2023s before starting 2024s after Labor Day. March and April were both lower than normal allocation months (April was very low). But those orders have TPWs in June and July. May had significantly more allocations than March and April. Those allocations have TPWs in June, July and August. There doesn’t seem to be much more factory capacity. Maybe that’s way they haven’t released allocations yet.

I think there is something to be said for the production creeping into August from the May allocations. The latest May Roll Call spreadsheet from 6/9/2023, had some August Initial TPW's and many were not scheduled yet.

I have been waiting since July of last year. I was informed by the dealer this past April that their next allocation would be my car. Nothing in May. Got the call this morning that they just received the allocation. Finalized my order with the dealer. Only option that I wanted that was rejected was the high wing rear spoiler. I'll be ok with the Z51 standard spoiler. I can always do an aftermarket high wing later if I really want to. I'm just so happy I got in on the anniversary year for the Corvette. Now the wait gets even harder . . .
