Default Weekend shipping
Quick question…. I know they do not make any C8 on the weekend but do they continue loading trucks and shipping out the cars on weekends? Or do they start everything back up on Mondays?

*Guessing* everything has t'do w/ how backed-up GM is, or isn't.
If backed-up, yes shipping c/would continue.
If not, Monday's soon enough.

Jack Cooper takes over once the car is built and passes QC. They decide what gets loaded based on filling up a trailer with cars all going the same direction so they can dispatch a driver. It also depends on if they have a driver available who has rested enough hours to satisfy DOT requirements.

great info… Tuesday will be 2 weeks since my car was built and passed QC. I am over in NY and patiently waiting delivery to the dealer. It’s been 19 months since I put my deposit down. So “patiently” waiting lol

When mine left the factory to be brought to Ciocca it left on a Friday…. Went part of the way and sat for the weekend.

While my wait has been a lot shorter than yours once my C8 was built the waiting seemed to be a bit easier and more relaxed. And I thought I waited a long time for my Ridgeline only 9 months and one model year. My hat's off to you for waiting that long.
