It doesn't specifically say fob battery is low when it detects the fob battery is low. I forget the exact message but I have got one when the fob battery is low. Something like remote battery is low.

i was wrong about the DIC. The message came up on the information screen. It said “Battery Low”.

I have received a message about the FOB battery being low. Changed the battery and no repeat messages. Seems like it did say something like remote battery low.

Thanks. I guess I’ll check my battery voltage and if it’s good, I’ll change the batteries in both fobs.
BTW; About the car's big 12 volt lead acid battery: A module in the car keeps track of current into and current out of the battery that produces, for the car's computers, an estimate of the percentage of charge of the battery. This is the first time I'm aware that an automobile made this estimation. I think you see this module in one of the cables leading away from the battery. Our cell phones and other devices have this function as a matter of course. Am I correct about this?
To my amazement, my 2020 still has its OEM battery and the original battery in the FOBs. I do have my CTEK charger plugged in 24/7. For the nit pickers, not while driving.

Many cars are equipped with a battery monitor now. Our 2022 Hyundai has one, and the Hyundai app sends me a message when it detects a low state of charge.

You are correct about the C8 battery monitor (I don't know about cell phones or other cars). The car calibrates the monitor automatically by measuring the battery voltage after the car has sat off and undisturbed for 4 hours or more, and estimating the state of charge of the battery. That is in fact the calibration procedure - just leave the car alone for 4 hours or so. When running it does what you said - measures current in and out, and time (so amp-hours).
Yes I do, and this may have very well been the problem. Didn’t think of that. This forum is awesome !!! Thank you Neo.
You're Welcome. I've gotten the same message on my Blazer. Basically, the same system, so it didn't surprise me. A lot of paranoia on the forums over battery capacity. People will report the few issues, but then there are the tens of thousands with no problems that don't.

I would never admit I owned a Hyundai on a Corvette Forum.
