That is the OE red engine cover option that comes with black anodized brushed aluminum rails....I purchased it for $371 @

Personally, I think it looks terrible. I'd install one that was the right size, but no way I'd install that.

The emblem is much better proportioned IMO to the engine cover and fills the triangular space nicely...
Also, the smaller molded base provides a nice pedestal for it to be raised on...

To each their own. I used a regular C8 flag and I think it looks great. It fills the space nicely and doesn't overpower the rest of the cover. I have seen some folks paint the one that is on the cover and most look like shxx, because painting it requires attention to detail and patience. But of course, it is not my car!
