PDR SD Card Size
The 2023 C8 manual only says "exFAT formatted SD card, Class 10 required, 16 GB or larger".
What is the largest SD you can use?
I put an 8GB card in that I found in my desk yesterday and it got full after about 60 minutes ( I use it as a dash camera recorder).
I just got a 128GB card from wally world today and put it in and it seems to work fine but have not recorded anything yet.

Because of exFAT I don't believe there is a practical limit. The PDR in the C7 was FAT32 which was limited to a max of 32gb.

This is what you want.
it needs to have the U3... the other U versions will not work. Remember the card will continue to record over your old data... But 8GB might be a bit small. i just stuck it in and it was ready to go, no formatting required.

By what measure does it seem to be working fine if you have not recorded anything yet?

I have a 512gb card. The first one I bought had issues, the 2nd one works fine. They were both the same class- first was a more generic card on Amazon, the 2nd is a SanDisk.

I use a San Disk 512GB. There are several threads on this subject. Several folks have reported using 1TB cars.

Make sure you purchase a "MAX ENDURANCE' card. It's designed for security cams etc that required numerous rewrites. Any "lesser" cards will fail prematurely,

It recognized the card and knew what size it was.

Thanks for all the replies, I know what to look for now. At least I have 128GB to tide me over till I get a bigger one.
After 3 weeks still discovering new things about my C8 and loving it.
Edit: just ordered a Sandisk Extreme Pro 512GB SD card from Amazon. I'll use the 128GB for my music.
