My waterfall speaker does not seem to be working right the sound is very faint and only audible with my ear right on it no matter what audio settings I use ( center , driver , normal , fade etc . Occasionally I also hear a popping sort of noise like someone tapping a microphone , This started after my trans replacement and I’m wondering if they needed to get at the fusses back there and they didn’t connect the speaker correctly ? Shouldn’t I be hearing music from that speaker ?

I thought my speaker wasn't working either, but when I adjusted the fade heavy toward the rear, it fixed the issue. With the fade adjusted in the center, I couldn't hear anything out of the speaker. Sounds like you may have already tried adjusting the fade setting. Seems like I remember some people on the forum saying they found their waterfall speaker unplugged. Not sure why or how, unless the factory never hooked it up. I would try the fade setting again and if that doesn't work, time to take it to the dealer for warranty fix.
I too have (had) the knocking/clicking sound coming from that speaker.
I have videos as well...
Happened twice, for an extended drive, but now its silent.
I believe that speaker is a "twiddler" used for fill sound only, (correct me if I'm wrong...)
I was going to have it checked out, but since the clicking/knocking sound is not present, it would be a wasted trip...
For me, no adjustments, that back center "waterfall" speaker is easy to hear if I lean over so my ear is in front of it. It seems fairly directional, obviously being so close to ear you wouldn't want it to be noticeable. But it does something.
