Can anyone who submitted an order recently list what the expected wait time is?
I'm talking about the big dealerships that everyone seems to use; MacMulkin, Criswell, Ciocca.
I'm on a waitlist with a local midsize dealership with an estimated 6 months. I went to the biggest dealership in Texas for corvettes(Classic in Grapevine) because I bought a corvette there previously, but their wait time is 18 months.
If one of those big ones is estimating less I'll probably get on their waitlist.
I got an email from MacMulkin that the list is about 4 months, give or take.
I finally got an email response from a TX dealer with a 3 month allocation waitlist(so should be able to get the order into GM in October) so delivery in 5 months or so.
Call around to some local smaller dealers. I was ready to go with MacMaulkin before I called two local dealers. I was told by one of them they were getting allocations with no one on the list- everyone is flocking to the larger dealers. I met with the local dealer on 5/16/23 and on 6/20/23 I was at status 3000 at the factory. Now waiting for my build date from the factory. MSRP with a $850 doc fee
Ciocca is estimating 10 months at this point. Which would put you around a May 2024 delivery if you get on their list now. Not sure if you are affected by the winter weather but I always like to time my deliveries in the Spring if possible.

yes a few hours of work and you probably will find something at a smaller dealer. I found my 22 in aug of 21. Ordered mid month driven home last week of October.

I got quoted the same kinds of times from Ciocca and MM. Called a local dealer and had the order accepted two days later.
$595. I agree on the calling around local dealers part plus it wouldn't hurt to add your name on the MacMulkin waitlist and request a refund after you get an allocation.
Unless I hear back from any other dealership that is closer than three months I'm going to go with the current offer. He has 30 on a waitlist and gets around 12 a month. He says he keeps one or two for the dealership and the rest go to the waiting list.
Thanks for all the info.
For Sale: Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tires, made in Germany (purchased for my 2017 Porsche Cayman, rear tires). Size is 265/45ZR18, 101Y speed rating. I paid $904 plus tax and installation in Sep 22, has barely 1,500 miles. I am asking $250 plus UPS Ground Shipping
I called dealers who's C8's were lised as in stock on the 2023 corvette website (dealer invetory link), most days there were about 300 cars listed, most cars are spoken for or course but not all, I got my corvette in 2 weeks
I got on the wait list at MacMulkin exactly 5 months ago today on Feb 14 at number 930 and I am now 288. I expect to get an allocation in the next two cycles unless there are production snags or strikes. They told me either the end of '23 or the beginning of '24 model years was their guess at the time and it seems correct. I understand there are several on the list who either will defer or have not submitted builds in front of me.
I actually got an email yesterday from a local dealer in Austin, TX finally responding. They said they don't have a waitlist and will get my order in by the end of the month and the car in three months. They do get a nice allocation, around 8 a month, so I don't doubt him. I've got my order in there, and on a three month waitlist as well. Whomever gets the order in first will get my money.
I know of two on the ground at different dealers in Minnesota for MSRP. One is in Aitkin MN and the other is in Two Harbors MN. They were both available as of last Saturday.

Ugh, after putting in the order, the salesman tells me the price is msrp + 10k. I had already told him that I was looking for msrp. What a pile of crap.
After checking with about 8 local dealers and hearing all of them say they don't have any allocations or their wait list is at least a year long I went with Ciocca. They said 9 to 10 months for a car, three of which are already past. In the meantime I'm watching dealer inventory and the used car listings. I have yet to find a used car that is configured the way I want so I'm pretty sure I'll need to order to get what I want.
