GM says a fluid and filter change is required at 44,500 miles (filter at 7,500 miles) or 3 years whatever comes 1st
Just hit 7,500 miles but the car 2020) was 3 years old in January 2023
14 Quarts of fluid at 43.76 each and $462 for labor; filter was $149.so $1284
Had a chance to drive a friends 2021 HTC that had the extra 2 quarts added. If shifted smoother and faster.
So on my fluid change I went with the track fill.
Test drove it and it is shifting smoother and faster

Did not add tax etc so a full accounting was not provided.
i am located in a semi-risk area with an excellent service staff and where the higher bigger city rates have not yet arrived

Of course. If one shares that information, the two most logical comments are going to be 1) poster shares similar info about his/her respective dealer experience, and 2) poster comments on whether the amount seems excessive or not.
For the record:
Fluid change is required for any of the following 1) every 24 hours of track use, 2) whenever the fluid life monitor says so, 2) every three years, 4) 45000 miles since last change if the life monitor is accidentally set, and 5) in the 2023 manual it says every 45000 miles (without any caveat about being accidentally reset).
Filter change is 1) every 24 hours of track use, 2) at 7500 miles (+/- 500 miles according to the most recently posted procedure), 3) at 22500 miles, 4) every 22500 miles thereafter, 5) whenever the filter life monitor says so (for 2023 models),

DIY, just on the DCT oil, Summit Racing has the GM fluid PN at about $43/qt, but they have the DCT oil Delco PN for less than $25/qt. BOTH PNs are on the same bottle, so you can save over $250 just on the DCT fluid, labor is your time, the filter is probably less if you buy it aftermarket, too.

I did the track fill and thought my car ran smoother when coming to a stop. may be in my head but I have since seen others make the same comment !

nope — same exact thing for me. I got the 2 extra quarts and it was BUTTERY smooth. Like going 30mph and downshift into 2nd or even 1st and the car didn’t lurch or jerk one inch. Literally zero using the paddles. Driving it off the lot wasn’t even that smooth and I was wondering if I was somehow damaging the transmission all this time because it had felt like I got a brand new DCT. It was a night and day difference and I actually lost my engines pop/crackle it does when downshifting.
Unfortunately that smoothness only lasted for like a week or 2 and it was right back to same old and has been that way since then. Even somewhat “easy” downshifts into lower gears cause it to be somewhat jerky (shifts under 2k RPMs)
my tech also said he like “reset” or “recalibrated” or “updated” the transmission (forget the verb he used) so it might have been some sort of computer related thing I was experience that somehow slowly reverted back to the way it was. My next service I want to ask him to do it again and see what happens to isolate if it was a fluid level thing or some ECU thing.
Thanks for the info. I plan on shopping around some of the bigger maintenance milestones although I hear we have a pretty good Corvette mechanic at the Chevy dealership in Cocoa Florida.
Its more than likely the fresh fluid that's helping the shift feel. ATF and DCT additive packages wear down over time and use. There are various friction modifiers which aid in the function of the fiber and steel clutches. If they deplete enough it can affect the performance of the clutches within the transmission.
Last year with only 4K miles on my car, but 12 months, I had the oil changed and they downloaded a transmission update (TB) and my car has shifted buttery smooth ever since. Maybe I'm just lucky or my butt dyno doesn't work as good as it once did but I don't feel any of the stuff everybody else seems to. I don't hear or feel the V8/V4 changes while cruising, don't hear the injectors ticking over the roar of the tires. Yes it is loud road noise wise in the car which is why I probably don't hear any of these things and can't fathom how people are so tuned into hearing and feeling every little thing folks mention on the forum. I truly believe it is the placebo effect because back in the day when I was instructing HPDE with the BMWCCA I could make people believe what they wanted to believe by driving my car or theirs in a manner to suggest what they wanted to believe with no actual mechanical changes to the car. I guess I'm more of a see it to believe it kind of guy and need hard evidence before I spend my money.

March 23, 2023 purchased a 2020 with 1365 miles. 4 months later 7,600 miles.
was getting CEL's but not anymore. After 7 days and $3,300 of warranty work a Speed Sensor was replaced.
have installed Strut Covers and TKOPerformance Heat Shield in the trunk.
This is my 6th corvette and I've driven the Milwaukee Mile, Indy 500, Tail of the Dragon and the NCM Sports park
