When Android Auto is running, the infotainment display doesn’t show the ambient temperature. Does this bother anyone else? Does anyone know how to get the temperature displayed while using Android Auto?
I don't know anything about Android. But if you want, the time/temp tile is one of the DIC tiles you can select in the display design menu. And that is what I do. I have mine set up so that the Track Display theme is displayed irrespective of the Driver Mode that I select. The Track Display Theme allows more info tiles to be selected than the Tour Display Theme.
Yes, I'd prefer the temperature display but, no, you can't get the car's actual temperature to display on the infotainment screen while it is displaying Android Auto. I just toggle the display between AA and the car's display if I really need to see the temperature.
