Default C8 borla atak install problem

I just got a phone call from the exhaust shop telling me my c8 only has the electrical connection for 2 valves instead of 4. My c8 did not come with performance exhaust. If it had performance exhaust I would have the connectors for the NPP instead of just the DFM. What happens now? The website I bought this from did not say a thing about this. Is there any way to make this work? My exhaust model is 140839. Will the NPP valves simply stay open without a connection to them or do I have to buy the borla atak exhaust with no NPP valves? Could the valve or any of its parts be removed?

I hate to bring bad news but the first line on the Borla web site is "System includes AFM and NPP Valves. Do NOT install on vehicles without O.E. NPP Valves.".

I do think you can find a NPP valve delete connector that will keep the valves open all the time but I am not sure how that would effect the car or exhaust, probably need to send a note to Borla asking them.

I didnt buy these from borla or their website. I bought them from another website and even spoke to a sales rep that confirmed this would work on my car. Borla does sell a nonNPP version of the atak however that version isnt on the website I bought mine from. Due to there being no expected power or communication to this valve I should be fine as long as it can stay in the open position. I just need to find out how that is possible. If by NPP valve delete you mean simulator I dont need that bc the wire or connector doesnt even exist on my car. I Just need the valve to stay open and then after the relearn it should be fine unless anyone here can say otherwise from experience.

Sorry, what I meant by NPP delete was for the exhaust which has NPP valves but without connectors. I think you need some kind of harness that essentially deletes them and continually sends the signal to stay open. I think your best bet is to call Borla.

***EDIT***
Borla does in-fact sell a non-NP version of the C8 ATAK system! You will need to perform the relearn procedure for the AFM valves only. Also, this is new information to me that Borla is making a non-NPP version of the C8 ATAK system! Thank you for sharing that, I also just looked it up on their website. The difference vs. the NPP valved system will likely be the muffler internals/baffles to minimize drone. My advice would be to contact Borla and to confirm any differences and ask about swapping just the two muffler portions with them since the order was in error. Their customer service is very good and they typically seem to do what it takes to take care of people.

Should have done more up front research. As @Kracka stated, Borla does NOT sell a non-NPP version of any of their C8 exhausts.

Just physically hold the NPP valves open. The exhaust shop should be able to weld on a little tab to accomplish that.

I'd try and return the system and get one without the valves

Quick update. He updated another thread and stated Borla contacted him and told him to have his shop tack weld the NPP valves in the open position.

They sell the non-NPP S-Type too. The non-NPP systems must have been released recently…

Do you have a link or part #? I've only found the ATAK so far.
