Forgetting the interior glare issue. Do not take eye health for granted. If you aren't wearing polarized sunglasses you should.

The tint only dims the HUD an insignificant amount. It is still completely functional with zero distortion. I think this is because the HUD is still projecting at the same angle on the windshield.

Through polarized sunglasses, the angle is much different.

With a high quality ceramic film (even the almost optically clear ones like 70) 97-99% of UV A&B, and IR radiation is blocked. Those are the rays that pose an eye damage danger. It's not about brightness.

XPEL XR Plus claims right now to be the best in this regard, but others are almost as good, and there may be better ones in the future. That level of protection is probably as effective as the highest quality polarized sunglasses.

Outside the car, or without a high quality ceramic tint, yes, absolutely protect your eyes with polarized sunglasses.

Default 2LT May solve glare problem

We’ve had our 23 ELB coupe since May and almost 5000 miles with a NCM delivery and relocation drive to Seattle area.

After driving my friend’s 22 mist red 3LT with natural Napa interior, I switched to a 2LT for our 23 solely because of the glare issue. It’s great with the only glare coming from the hockey stick like accents. Check out the corvette build app online and you can see the difference.

Wear and staining on the Napa seats is almost non existent if you wear twill pants/slacks. Avoid new jeans at all costs. There are ok seat materials cleaner, but why bother, don’t wear jeans.

that’s my 2 cents. We got the 23 for 70th anniversary and my 70th birthday. Our 4th (last ?) Corvette

When we took delivery of our 3LT Natural Dipped on a very bright, sunny day, we both thought the glare was a bit bothersome. Two days later, neither of us noticed it, and nearly 2 years later, I'm always surprised how twisted up some have gotten, when I read these Natural Dipped glare threads.

That was your issue. You just did one short test drive, and you had the same experience we had on day 1. For the majority of folks, the brain accommodates by focusing attention outside. My theory is that certain people fixate on the glare, keep staring at, and can't get over it. However, that's rare for most folks.

We wouldn't trade it or compromise the look for anything at this point. It's still the #1 show-stopper factor about our configuration.
