I found them to useless. Nothing timely. Checking with other sources there notifications were not even close to what was really happening with my build. Two weeks after my C8 was delivered I got email saying my car was scheduled to be built.
Very unreliable. I got the first one after I had went to status 3000, then I got an email saying thank you for your patience several weeks later, and that was it.
Hard to understand why this is so difficult for Chevrolet.
The emails are for the following status:
3000 - Order Accepted, Your Corvette is at the Starting Line.
3400 - Order Broadcast, Building your dream to order.
4200A - Sent to Shipper, Your Mid-Engine masterpiece is making great strides.
4800 - Arrived at Shipper, Pure performance is on the horizon.
4200B/C - Left Shipper for Dealership, Exhilaration is on the approach.
So, yes the communication is sparse and you won't get one at 3800 Produced.

Totally agree!....GM's notification are sporadic, late and most non-existent!....
