Yeah. And the curved top wheel has the red stripe while the flat top wheel does not. We finally realized that we could tell the difference between the two horses because the black horse was a hand taller than the white horse. The photo appears to be in nearly the same position (if not the same) and the car interior looks identical. And the cars in the background do not change so its the same time or nearly so. It could obviously be two different cars - that's what I was asking. How the picture was made.

Perhaps they are lower than in the past due to safety re air bags!

I like it too, just trying to keep the terminology and history correct.

I’m sure there is a vendor out there that could do a wheel like you want - at what price I do not know.

Doubt a Vender would go thru the expense as the OP, once he sits in the car will realize the Squircle is needed so the top of the wheel does not block HUD etc! Yep, without a front engine they were able to lower the dash for better front visibility!

Reminds me of the fellow that was selling covers for the rear hatch vents and gap at the bottom of the glass! Appeared to be a good idea for folks before they got their car and were mistakenly concerned about water getting into the engine compartment when washing.
Most when they washed their car realized the few oz of water that entered was needed to pick-up with the corner of a towel and use it to wipe the dust and dirt that comes in thru the side fender coops every time you drive! Then use the bulk of the towel to clean flat surfaces, engine cover etc. Only takes a few minutes.

And he will very likely realize when driving that the different shape is completely un-noticeable from a functional perspecitve (at least that's what I found).

Aesthetically, in the images posted above in this thread, I think the wheel with the flat bottom and curved top looks misshapen and bizarre.

Aftermarket is your option, but I think after driving with the stock wheel you will decide to keep it. It really is very easy to use and looks right for the styling of the C8

I'm not so sure. Check out the shadow that the door casts. It's different between the two - I don't think that's camera angle. I'm still waiting for the whoever posted the images to say how it was obtained. See circled area on attached photos.

Pretty sure you're right. Look over the O.E.M. steering wheel at the 10:00 position and you'll see a pole with a banner (at the end of the grass island), but if you look at the 'photoshopped' wheel the pole magically disappeared. Also, in the probably couple of hours it would have taken to swap out the wheels not a single vehicle came or went. Kinda like playing 'Where's Waldo?'

I don’t think the OP knows that flat top adds 5HP. 🤘🏻

Funny. You don’t notice all the same cars out the windshield and all the other similarities. It is photoshopped.

Of course I noticed that the cars appeared the same. And I mentioned it in post 21. And I also recognize what appears to be dissapearing post. But there are other changes - The shadows shifted. And it appears that the perspective shifted - In the lower left windshield there is a tree, a post, and a blue park curb on the curved top wheel - on the flat top wheel that post and blue park curb have slide behind the pillar, and the tree has moved next to the pillar. The curved top wheel has a stiching in the center, the flat top wheel does not. There are also changes around the area of the steering wheel stalks and paddle positions. I could be that the wheel was photoshopped in - but why would those other items change? Still waiting for the originator to say how it was obtained.

I agree, I think they are two different photos however the photo with the rounded top wheel could still be a photoshopped photo.

The round top is attached on an angle. The flat top to more of a straight line

Yes. And the way the lower half wheel is attached is also different.
