I had horrible experience with them, but will not disparage them on forums. Send message f9r details. I would buy the stock Chevy stripes and have a local graphics art company apply them. The graphics company may be able to get comparable material, cut and apply as well.

I have used VetteStripes for several of their products and the quality and customer service has been great. Check for any reviews in the Transactions Feedback section of the forum.

CS was horrible in my case. Numerous flaws in product stock, and wouldnt refund me only replace but too late as my installer had just cut me some being I drove miles for install on scheduled appointment. My installer was the one who told me to just buy stripes for him to install. When he examined found 3 flaws and told me cheap material. When working with the owner he even accussed me of stealing the design (he stole from GM) to compete. I informed the owner my graphics installer didn't need little Corvette stripes to sell as he was graphics installer for large businesses, race teams, trucks, etc, etc. Ultimately CS gave me a 50% refund IF I returned material. He did acknowledge 2 flaws when he got back. I will give CS benefit of doubt..maybe I just had one bad off experience. To the contrary I used Stencils & Stripes for my classic cars and the quality was incredible. I don't know if they do modern era stripes though as their business is really about factory approved classic car replica replacement stripes.

There has to be associated GM part number. You should then be able to order from any dealer. Bodymen can always get them......

Had to have my stripe replaced as I took a rock hit and it damaged it. I bought the factory one and took it to a PPF place to have them install it for me. They told me that this was the thickest stripes they had ever seen. FYI.

I would do a little research and find someone to paint them on and clear over them. I am not a decal fan. If you know some street rod guys they always know multiple small shops for some custom work and those guys are usually quite **** about the quality of the work being done

The OEM stripes are automotive paint and clearcoat applied to a vinyl substrate. Aftermarket stripes are just vinyl. If I wanted to add stripes, it would be the OEM stripes.

They come in multiple pieces (so you can replace a single damaged section) and multiple colors. Go to Chevrolet Accessories, select Corvette and your model year. Then search for "dual racing stripes".

Default Hey Good Lookin'

Just for the challenge, I tried to find OEM stripes. And I did. But curious, they seem to be plain Jane vinyl. No different from aftermarket supplier stripes. As opposed to the LPO ordered with the car. The 'real' factory stripes are automotive painted and then clear coated on a clear substrate. Dunno?

I absolutely agree! I have the factory installed stripes and the quality and how they were installed was a bargain compared to buying aftermarket and getting an installer. I honestly don’t think buying from Vette stripes and then paying an installer would be any cheaper. The best part is if there is a problem it’s on GM and not me.
