Your C8 looks great and you will really enjoy it but I would figure out some way to keep the Vantage. I love the Vantage.

Question? That black gas cap cover, was that wrapped or an aftermarket add on, I have a white 24 2LT HTC on order, and that extra black adds to the overall look of performance?

First impressions are tough since the car had 5 miles on it driving off the dealer lot and driving 4 hours home, pretty much all highway. My car is a 1LT, no Mag Ride, no Z51 (I know some will roll their eyes), it does have the Performance Exhaust. Pure weekend canyon toy, not a track guy. I have to say I was surprised how smooth the car is. I didn't necessarily think it would be harsh but I wasn't expecting it to have such a comfortable ride. Obviously I'm breaking it in so no real impressions on power/performance yet, though I can tell with some mid throttle roll ons that this thing moves. Fit/finish is exceptional from what I can tell. Very nice cockpit! I heard some folks hate the square wheel, but it didn't bother me at all.

It goes to the shop for PPF next week, plus some other additions I'll post about. Overall I'm very excited to be back in the community and from what little I've seen the C8 really takes it up a notch compared to past generations. I'll be very sad to see the Aston go.......the most gorgeous car I've ever owned, and just a joy with the 6 Speed. I really had second thoughts all the way down to the dealership this morning.....until I showed up and saw the C8, then I was excited.
Nice car! You built it the way you wanted it. I wouldn't worry about the eye rolling!...My 2020 is a 1LT non-Z-51 and I love it...I was able to get in the game again myself after a much longer time! My previous Corvette was a C-4!..Back in 2019 when I saw the $59995. base price I knew I could do it...

I would agree, it's tastefully done. It's without doubt the C8 look fantastic in white.

Keep both - life is short, and your kids will probably spend it on something stupid.

Also installed a Soler Performance Throttle Controller (best $150 you can spend, period, end of story).

After 800+ miles on the car I can say I am really really impressed with this thing. I can't get over how smooth it drives. It's a weekend canyon toy, 6/10s driving mostly. Just a joy in virtually every situation. I miss a manual but I am falling in love with the DCT.
Looks great with the wheels!
