Reason: need to know brand but I want to hide it
I used Gtechniq CSL, it took about 30 seconds to begin looking like little droplets formed. Have you looked at youtubes on the product? After that I’d call or email customer service. I used two types of ceramic coatings, both simple, worked great. I’m in Florida, so we typically have higher humidity.
Avalon King.
Called tech support but seemed 1st level reading from script. No help. That's why I'm here.
"Did you shake the bottle?" "Did you do small 2ft x 2ft sections?" ...
I used Avalon King for the first car I did… worked great, didn’t flash quickly at all. It was November in Florida, so not to hot. The product worked great. I switched to Gtechniq CSL after that just because they seemed to be have a better line of products.
What is flashing for those of not up on ceramic coating?
When the solvent evaporates. You'll usually see a rainbow effect with most coatings which tells you it's time to wipe away the excess and level it out.
Sorry to see, but did anyone recommend it? Have you contacted the company? You didn't try a new product on a small, subtle area first? ALWAYS do so!!! All the best, in any event.
