I did a search here and didn't see this topic which sort of surprises me. As a halo car I wonder why Chevrolet hasn't offered a program similar to BMW or Porsche to customize your car and essentially build a one-off? Maybe just limit it to the Z06 since one of the larger complaints I see is the lack of visual difference between a base car and a Z06--we've seen this before-- C4 base/ZR1. I even thought it would be cool if they did some retro colors e.g. Aztec Copper, Tasco Turquoise, Nassau Blue Metallic, Saddle Tan Metallic, LeMans Blue, Black Rose Metallic, etc... Yea I know you can do a wrap but I've never been a fan especially when it cost $5k plus to get something really nice. Just spit ball'n here...
I think any program like that would slow down production of regular C8s, and GM hasn't been able to meet the demand for those. If having a unique car is important, there are other options. The C8 can't be all things to all people.
