Default Bug report and Question

Bug report: I have noticed that, often, when I am in My Mode and I switch into Z Mode, then turn the mode **** to switch back into My Mode, the "My Mode" label in the center display remains. (Usually the label disappears after a few seconds and only the icon remains). Worse, if I turn the mode **** to any other mode, it still displays "My Mode", so I am a little unsure about what mode I am actually in. If I turn the engine off and restart, the anomaly clears itself. Has anybody else noticed this?

Question: There is an icon at the bottom of the main display a couple of places to the left of the clock and temperature. It looks like a circle with a number in it. What does that indicate?

Thanks

I'm having trouble following. The display in front of the driver is the Driver Information Center or DIC. And the the other display is the infotainment display. Which of these are you calling the "center" display, and where/what is an icon label. And which is what you are calling the "main display"?

On the DIC, in the center of it, at the bottom, is an icon that will indicate the driver mode. That symbol will change with each mode. If you push the Z mode button, that icon in the bottom center of the DIC will show Z mode. If you use the **** to return to MyMode, then it should change back to the MyMode icon. Or, if you push the Z mode to exit, it will return toTour, and show that icon. Is that not happening? When you speak of "clock and temperature" are those on the DIC or the infotainment display? On the DIC the tiles are selectable - some have time and temp on their display (I have selected that), but not everyone, and it can be selected to appear in different locations in that left side of the DIC. Picture would help.

Here is my display showing the DIC with the Z mode icon in the center bottom. Mine is set up to show the Track Display Theme regardless of the driver mode, but the icon at the bottom, which says Z in this photo, will change with the Driver Mode. You can see the time an temp tile. I could have located it in one of 4 places or not put it there at all. I don't see number with a circle. That must be something you see on the infotainment screen. But that can display different things too. Pics would help.

Sorry for the confusion. "Center display" refers to DIC. "Main display" refers to Infotainment display. "Icon label" refers to text like "My Mode" that normally appears momentarily along with the mode icon, then fades leaving only the icon. I hope that makes my comment clearer. Thanks, guys. (PS. Please note that the anomaly I am describing happens frequently but not EVERY time).

still not sure what you mean by icon. There is a label next to each slider bar on the infotainment screen that shows a setting. It does flash momentarily . pics would help.

Ok. I got it now. Yes its a bug. If I select z mode it displays z. if If I turn to mymode the icon changes to mymode , the label appears under it, then goes away. If I rotate to other modes it behaves correctly showing the icon flashing label which goes away. If the icon is stuck when you change mode or try to its a bug. You could disconnect then connect the battery to cause a reset. Or there is a way by leaving the door open but I dont know exacly how that works.

The number in a circle on the infotainment display next to the time and temp is number of alerts pending. Touch it and it will take you to another screen.
