OEM GM splash guards installed at NCM delivery, traveled 2800 miles and only got one small scratch below the ACS Z-06 rocker panel.
Fit and function are good, these are not very large but they do a good job of minimizing the carnage.
One thing I noticed right away is the amount of dirt and of course brake dust that sticks to the back of the car (Z-51 spoiler)
Aerodynamics and airflow are everything on the C-8 and you can clearly see how it works after driving it and looking at the exterior, I don't mind wiping it down and keeping it clean.
The GM splash guards are something I read about and did ask my dealership about when I was ordering and I am glad that I went with them, they do seem to help.
Yes, you will still get debris pouring off these Michelin tires under bad conditions, it is the nature of the beast.
I just want to drive this car, the C-8 is just an absolute thrill to run.

The design and function of the cheaper Ebay gaurds is as good as most out there. I had a very hard time getting the clips on those guards to fit into the factory wheel well slits. Remove the metal clips on the Ebay guards and replace them with the stock clips and they will snap right in without much effort. It worked for me. Before the change I was beating the he'll out of them trying to get them to seat.

You should file a claim with Ebay / paypal. DId you ask about the bilstering in writing I assume? If so you should be able to get your $$$ back.
