Auto Locking

Does anyone know how to program the door locks so the car automatically locks the doors once you are underway about 5mph? All my other vehicles operate this way, but my C8 auto locks the doors as soon as I put the car into gear. The wife has to wait till I get the car out of the garage to get in and each and every time I forget that I now have to unlock the door for her. Needless to say she thought I was doing this on purpose so I could leave her behind and do some “spirited driving”. I had to demonstrate that this wasn’t the case.

Infotainment screen Settings-->Vehicle-->Power Door Locks are the only options you have.
According to the owners manual the doors lock when you shift out of Park and it can't be changed.

Operator error!

You need to reprogram yourself to remember to unlock the door.

Doors unlock when you put it into park. I have the same routine with my wife. Just put it into park, she gets in then put into reverse. Easy.

And that's the way it should be. All my cars operate that way. Seems easy enough and safer to me.
