Hi All, I am a proud owner waiting to take delivery in the next few days, yeayyy!!!!!!
I saw two recent videos on YouTube claiming there are a few C8s popping up below MSRP in the last 48 hours, one as low as 3k below…
I am sure if you walk into the dealership, it will be a different story.
I found it interesting while I have been absolutely happy paying MSRP with no dealer fees and getting a fully customized order and barely waiting four months…And of course, all these listings were 2023.
Thoughts?
Well, we are on the 5th model year & with well over 100,000 cars being built, I guess the day has come where you have cars selling for MSRP & some actually on the dealers lot as stock
IMO, the dealer in MT is an anomaly…they’ve got a pair of leftover ‘23’s, the ‘24’s are out and winter is coming which I’m sure is a whole lot rougher on sports car sales there than in the south. They did exactly what I do when I’m ready to just dump an item on eBay and just undercut the price of everyone else to get it sold fast. Until there are NO lists, and the cars are readily available on lots to just pick one and buy, I think MSRP will still be the Stingray standard for the 2024 model run. I feel fortunate that I paid $67,895 MSRP for my base 1LT ‘24 and then cars that rolled off the line just 10 days after my production date are now $69,995 MSRP, so I sorta feel like I got mine below MSRP…
We are talking about inventory cars. You take what they have for the discount. I'm sure they are not taking orders for less than MSRP. That is going to happen just yet....

Sounds like you are wondering if your timing is costing you? But you are getting exactly what you wanted. If you assume msrp is a premium so be it. Yes there are cars at discounts. Few and far in between but more coming soon. The market is normalizing. With the c7 in year 6 there were discounts in the teens. But why wait? Get the car enjoy and don’t look back!
