Default RoadTrip

Last week, I drove my C8 over 1800 miles from Chicago to Scottsdale. The car preformed incredibly well! I ended up getting almost 25 MPG and averaged about 82 MPH. It was an absolute blast of a drive!

Good for you! These are great road trip cars. Often all we hear is "problems" but these cars like to run on the highway. Just did 2,741 miles in 4 days with zero issues, none, nada. Only got 19 mpg, but it's a Z, so not bad....

Default OP. I ha e no doubt you could drive the base C8 anywhere and never be fatigued.

I drove My 2023 Z-51 Coupe (NCM delivery) from Bowling Green to Washington State and I had a blast.
The car performed flawlessly and I would gladly do it again.
bugs washed off and the bra protected the front end.
not one rock chip.

We picked up our C8 in Maryland in April, drove directly to North Carolina in 2 days, then home to Oregon. 4000 miles in 8 days. Long trip yes, but interesting. The C8 cruises great at 80, gets good mileage, and keeps you entertained with driving modes, and all of the 2LT features.
GT2 seats are super comfortable. What a great car.

Did not keep track of speed but would guess-ti-mate between 75 and 80 mph. First leg was in break in mode, so no cruise control, etc. Seats are GT2 - no issues with comfort

best i have ever seen is 36mpg on a Cruise Control at 75 mph in 7th gear the whole way for 50 miles on the freeway.
For the 2800 mile Caravan Run to BG, i only managed 27mpg, but there were some times sitting in construction zones and some times well above suggested speed limits.

My images will only load to 90% for some reason, two different browsers...

Pictures of my dash after a trip from WA to VA to Buffalo and back.

6305 miles, 70.8 mph, 27.8 mpg. ...

I wish the pics would load .. In reality my mpg wasn't that good. Another pic shows 88 hrs, 57 min and 219.7 gallons, but it was really about 230 gallons. .. The car doesn't know how much fuel it actually uses, as I tracked every drop... (but i lost all my data in a phone upgrade)

Your pictures are probably to much info for the forum software. If you upload them to a pic site like google and resave them from their it should make them less megabytes.
Maybe give it a try with one or two.

They went! Must have happened after I quit as when I look this morning, there they are....

I was only able to achieve the higher than 70 mph average over 6,000+ miles because I was able to drive for DAYS across the midwest at between 85 and 90 mph. Otherwise stops for gas, food, hotel room, etc would have brought it down. ..

Do you get better fuel economy in 7th gear vs 8th? RPM is higher so maybe it is more efficient.
