I also bought the 84 month, 56k additional milage Platinum Plan with $0 deductible from Todd S @ MacMulkin a year ago for our 2020 with 10k miles on it at the time..... $1379 at the time.

That’s a bad deal. I have 18,500 miles on my 2021. B2B warranty expires at the end of this year. I just bought an 84 month (7 years)/56,000 mile platinum plan with $0 deductible for just over $2000. I highly recommend Todd S. at MacMulkin. His contact info is in post #2.

If you buy the a protection plan while your car has the 3 year/36K mile Bumper to Bumper then it will run concurrently with the B2B warranty. If you buy a 8 year/100K mile protection plan a month before your 3 year B2B warranty expires with 35K miles on your car you will have an additional 8 years/100K miles from that day (10 years, 11 months and 135K miles total) protection.

I didn't claim the GM Platinum Protection Plan was a B2B warranty. As far as I know the only B2B extension is the one that that extends the B2B warranty from 3 years/36K miles to 5 years/60K miles and runs concurrently with the powertrain warranty, and must be purchased when you purchase the new vehicle. I'm not aware of any other true B2B warranties available for the C8.
