Default Build Sheet?

Is there a build sheet hidden in my C8?

Have not found any in the C8 yet. As I remember the C6 was under the passenger seat.

I am confident that there isn't a build sheet in your car.

However, you can order your build sheet from the National Corvette Museum.

https://corvettestore.com/products/corvette-build-sheet

I purchased my build sheet embossed on aluminum when I took delivery of my 2022 at the NCM.

My build sheet was in the trunk with the accessories when I picked it up at MM. Curious why any dealer would remove it.

When the cars are built they put a build sheet in on the right front seat. Most dealers recon departments throw them away when they take the plastic off the seats

I had My build sheet laminated at the NCM, it still has the masking tape attached to the paper that holds it to the build as it goes down the line.
The factory tour was great and I saw these "build sheets" on every build and it really is a special item to have with the car.
You really need to see them in the factory going down the line, I thought it was really cool.
A great collectible to have with all the rest of the NCM goodies, swag and collectibles.

Yes. Most dealers do remove and discard the build sheet at PDI. Many buyers don’t even know the build sheet even exists.

Short of asking the dealership if they have the build sheet (assuming it’s not in the car), it’s probably more expedient to just order it from the NCM where you can at least either have them laminate it or emboss it onto aluminum. I did the latter and it hangs on the wall in my home office.

I was lucky enough to be at the dealership when my car arrived. The build sheet was the first thing I grabbed.

Yeah, was under the passenger seat of the C7, as well. We wouldn't want GM to do anything predictably, at least not for too long.

Same here, I paid the $6 and had it laminated.

Me too. My brother reminded me over and over while I was waiting on my car - "Get those build sheets!!" I had my window sticker laminated as well.

The build sheet offered by the NCM is a nice product - the lamination keeps it nice and protected. I bought my C7 used and unfortunately it did not come with either a window sticker or build sheet. Ordered both through the NCM and now have them hanging on a wall in my garage.

BTW, if you do decide to get the item from the NCM, hope you will consider getting a membership to the museum. Great organization and you get 10% off things you buy there.
