My brother in law has a 2023 C8. The windshield is going to be replaced under warranty. It is starting to get bubbles in the glass. Has any one had any problems replacing the C8 windshield. Thanks

More important is who installed it? I would ask the dealer whom they plan to hand the work to, and then see how many C8's they've done. Frankly, I would trust Safelite more than a dealer body shop for this fix.
I had to replace my windshield at 800 miles on my 23 HTC. It took a rock and had it replaced with insurance through Safelite and they did a great job. I didn't even consider the dealer and when I asked them about it they said they use Safelite anyway. They took great care of the car and I was able to watch the process. It took about a week to get the OEM windshield to them however.

I would only trust safelite if they agreed to install oem glass. If you don't demand oem glass, they normally pawn off they're cheap junk.
I just had safelite do my truck, oem glass was a $250 up charge. Unfortunately after the first rain I discovered that it wasn’t sealed and my passenger floor was soaked. Good news is they came back out and replaced it with no hassle, so far so good on the second try.

Why would Safelite not agree to install OEM glass? You, or your insurance company are paying for the OEM glass so they would be happy to oblige. BTW, back in the C6 days, the "aftermarket" version of the HUD glass was identical to the OEM glass except that the GM logo was removed. Might still be the case...
I've dealt with Safelite twice. The first time went fine, the second time there was wind noise when driving above 40 MPH, intolerant above 55 MPH. 3 occasions, with 3 different techs, and none of them was able to correct the problem. There were excuses, the best was that the "defect was the car not the windshield" even though there was no wind noise with the original windshield.
I got the short straw so two months later I traded it for a new SUV. Safelite is a good company for the most part, but they can swing and miss like anybody else.
I am getting my windshield done this morning by a local company. I have a chip directly in driver's view. State Farm agreed to do OEM as to not lose the Team Corvette logo. I liked that the installer had full knowledge of C8 Corvette windshields....most just treat it as another car windshield.

Most insurance companies don't guarantee OEM parts, but OEM or equivalent and you don't have a choice really, unless you pay upcharge.

I'm curious how bubbles developed? Yes I know, technically glass is a liquid but I've not seen bubbles form in laminated safety glass, is that a thing?

Replacing the C8 windshield should be straightforward, but ensure the dealer uses OEM glass to maintain proper fit and function. The key issue is recalibrating the driver assistance systems, which rely on the windshield-mounted cameras and sensors. If the replacement is covered under warranty, the dealer should handle this, but it’s worth confirming.
